Eastern Idaho Bike Magazine home

This website is the remains of what was the Eastern Idaho Bike Magazine, which was published in 2003 and 2004. Almost everything has been removed, including the email lists, which nobody seemed to use anymore. For local email list-type functions, see Eagle Rock Cycling Club

FAQ: "Why has the Eastern Idaho Bike Magazine website been trimmed back to virtually nothing?"

A: Because most people who bicycle seriously (and exercise seriously) don't have time to fart around on somebody else's website. They tend to do their own thing, sort of like the well-known herd of cats. They do form herds and cooperate from time-to-time, but this requires prodding from a capable and diligent cat-herder. Lastly, I don't have time to devote to its punctual maintenance.

FAQ: "What will this website become?"

A: Bike farts and similar. Mostly mine. And any other worthy farts.

For 20+ years, group riding in Idaho Falls has been sensible. Suddenly, this year (2010), things have gone wonky. Hence a refresher:

Spring 2010 Update

Recently I am returning to the realm of my natural talent: track sprints (running) and javelin throw. Because I am aged 50 this year, I plan to enter the Southeast Idaho Senior Games and participate in these events. Early indications are that I can be competitive and avoid the stresses associated with training for distance events. If you would like to participate (training and/or competing) please let me know. Last year the games were in August. Perhaps the same this year. Their website is here: seidahoseniorgames.org.
